Examinations and Quizzes

As your course schedule indicates, the course evaluation will be based on the combined results of your performance in the Final exam, two (2) in class tests, three quizzes and five projects. Exams will be of mixed format, i.e., short answer, true/false, multiple choice and programming problems. It is strongly recommended that you review the Exercises at the end each chapter in the textbook. You will have three (3) quizzes during the course. You may have your notes with you at each quiz. No internet, computer, or books will be allowed for the open-notes quizzes. The projects are practical programming applications for the different learning phases of the course. All course evaluation materials (exams, quizzes, and projects) are individual work and your own efforts. Evaluations are not to be shared with or copied from others.
